Heh. I just hack mine off with scissors every couple weeks (when it gets to long or thick).

you can use thinning shears, however it leaves split ends and uneven hairs. pulling seems to be the only way unfortunately.

I always thought pulling left uneven hairs to. could you not cut up ways under neath it then just level it out on the top layer?
