What Is a Riding Club?

I hope this isin't a stupid question (sorry if it is XD), but what exactly is a Riding Club?

I suppose you can make it pretty much whatever you want it to be.
Around here there are several groups that organize trail rides, and a bunch of people meet up at those trails. I would call those riding clubs.
Sometimes they might also have non-mounted meetings, put on an occasional competition, hold seminars, have speakers, etc.
Really it's just a group of horse people who like to get together for whatever activities the club has defined.

Unless there's some more precise meaning than that - that's all I'm familiar with.

^ Thank you.
Yep that was what I thought it was. I wanted to talk to a riding club about any stables in the area that the club is situated in, do you think they'd have that information?
Thanks once again!

Can't hurt to ask. They would likely know some of them, if the members keep their horses at those stables, or have friends who do. Some members might even own and operate those stables.

I don't have any other contact details etc of any stables in that area and I've struggled to find stables online or in brochures but they have quite a few shows in the area so I'm guessing there has to be something around, so they might be the best people to ask.
