So I looked on the search on the threads for ACV. Anyways, I didn't see anything that answered my question..would it be okay if I put a little in my horses food although she has coliced in the past?
I used to feed it to Flash and he definitely liked the taste of it but I didn't notice any positive changes from it (I was using it to combat mosquitoes).
I fed 1/4 cup in every meal, I'd put it right in his beet pulp. After I ran out, he stopped eating his beet pulp lol.
My mare gets ACV-mainly for biting flies; there is a noticeable difference from before she's gotten the ACV and after.
I don't think there should be any issues with a horse who has previously colicked...and there are so many benefits to the ACV; I would try to find a vet who is into the 'natural' remedies and ask.
