What does "Blown up" Mean?

Someone interested in my mare asked if she was blown up on barrels.

I think it could either mean too excited or sick of it.

Help! :)

I've heard it used as being too excited. Or as having gate issues.

I have never heard it before but I would likely take it the same way as someone asking if a horse was "burned out", aka....sour. You might want to double check with the person asking though since there are many options on what a certain phrase could mean and meaning may vary by region.

What would be the signs?

Gate issues. Fighting the bit. Making wide, out of control turns.

Ahh ok. Well she doesn't do that. I am going to do a video of her for him.

I've always heard it used in the context of being sour. That can include blowing off turns and/or gate issues.

to me it means ruined, as in their no longer of use for barrels. They blow up at the gate and are completely barrel sour.
