Nova's finally starting to look like a QH should

You can go ahead and critique, but I just wanted to show off how much better Nova is starting to look. Good difference in muscle? She's also pregnant. (I know the new pictures aren't the best for confirmation, I'll get some more soon)

Here's when I first got her:

And here's a couple pictures from yesterday: (btw, she's not butt high at all, for some reason these angles make it look horrible)

Wow, she does look so much better. Good job. Do you know what she's in foal to or when she's due?

ShutUpJoe 09-26-2010 07:18 PM

What a difference! She's a beautiful horse.

Ah! I know I've said it before, but: I WANT THAT HORSE! She is SO pretty. And she looks so much better now.

She's in foal to a AQHA/FQHA grulla stud, if she didn't take to him, she's in foal to a dunalino stud who's registered AQHA as well. I'm kind of hoping for the Dunalino because that gives me more options than black or grulla, but we'll have to see. I also like the build of the Dunalino better as well. They're both around 15.1hh. And no, I wasn't the one who bred her, and I probably wouldn't have personally bred her, but it is what it is...She should be due around March or April, but she's starting to show too many signs so I'm going to be having the vet come out soon and palp her because she could have been potentially bred before the owner I got her from. But either which way, she's found her forever home and isn't going owner hopping anymore.

pretty girl, and she looks LOADS better than what she did, you have done a great job. She doesnt even look pregnant, she holds her figure well lol. Im not a fan of her head.. definantly not the pretiest head in the world, but hopefully the stud she was bred to has a nice head. Im no good at critique though, so no help from me there.

holy crap, she looked awful! does she have bug bites on her?
She looks amazing now.She has a good owner and she looks happy!

I think she's gorgeous and has a very nice head. Especially for a QH. I don't know why, but many QH's have plain heads. I guess they weren't bred for the head, lol! But your gal has a very respectable QH head- in my opinion anyway. :-)

aww, she is sooo gorgeous!

great job rehabbing her! She found a great forever home.
