does anyone else have any experience with these it not a hackamore or a side pull its called a bitless bridle
i think there website is bitlessbridle.com
i got one for christmas and i really like it. my horse is at her most responsive using it. alot more then just hackamores ect. i hate bits i will never use a bit again.
Hello and im sure glad to see you like the bitless i ride all my horses in a bitless bridle not that i dislike bits but my horses are more relaxed and more responsive with the bitless bridle i ride walking horses and saddlebreds and also drive my saddlebred in a bitless bridle and he does way better this way then with the bit. I also have mustangs and ride them all with bitless in fact my mare has never worn a bit and she is now 12yrs old and i frist rode her in a bitless just months after she was taken off the range so as you can see i love them thanks and happy rideing cause your horse is happier with the bitless Dave

My paint hates anything pulling on nose. She prefers the bit. My qh doesn't respond to stop grazing with no bit. So I don't use those.
Hi and i do understand what you say with your horses not doin well with the bitless bridles. And i appolige if i came across like they are the only thing for people to use on there horses, A nd no they dont work on all horses . I have spent a lot of time retraining a couple of my horses to use the bitless , my qt mare was the first of severl horses that was haveing trouble with the bit so i tryed different bits andf hackamores . Then started a round pen training with her and the bitless and she is now doing great with it. i stated i do use the bitless bridles with all my horse but it wasnt always this way at one time i had bridles hanging with each horses stall as they all took better with different bits, then i just got tired of all the different type iron i had to use in each horse so i changed all of them to bitless, and with useing the bitless briddles now i dont worrie about brecking a bridle when we are out ridein because they all will ride with just a rope halter on them which i keep 1 with us on all rides just incase of a broken bridle . thanks and again i do appolige if it sounded like im against bitds as im truely not the bitless just works best in my systems thank you Dave

Dave, I don't think you were harsh or something in your post. :D I personally think hackamore or bb is great for horses and I started both mine in very mild sidepull (much milder than even bb). However I found out that it just doesn't work for my paint (she tossed her head all the time and refused to turn). So I got very mild french link with copper or something (for better taste) and she likes it much better. All horses are SO different that it's hard to predict what work for some, and not work for others.
