Small Cut

So my horse got a small cut, I know this is being a little crazy but I put peroxide on it, and triple antibiotics. It's just a small cut, but it was sort of an open wound, and I didn't want it to get infected... do you think I went a little over bored? Should I should have just left it?

Any cut is worth cleaning...and then leaving alone to heal. Peroxide is not the best and is actually a poor anticeptic. Our cut routine is wash with antibacterial soap/water, wipe with betadine, apply your triple antibiotic (e.g. neosporin), and leave it be, only checking for any signs of infection.

Peroxide was the only thing I had... so I thought its better than nothing right?
But yah, it should heal pretty soon here, it's not deep, but I didn't want her getting infection!

That's fine...cleaning it/antobiotic cream and being up to date on tetanus are the two most important things.
