Muddy barn, need help !
I have a 15' by 20' (15' wide, 20' deep) run-in that is completly wood, roof and walls, it leaks like crazy when it rains and snows. The cheapest roof we could put on is $400 and we cant do that right now. it has a 13' wide, and probably 20' deep dirt corral attched to the front of it, and we have 5 acres to turn our mare onto, but she wont stay in the pasture at night (she escapes) and we plan to have rain soon. Besides roofs what can you all sujest? we dug a trench/ditch around the corral, but it doesnt help the run-in i have heard of roof cement, and its cheap, just not really gonna protect the wood roof.
Couldn't you nail some tar paper on there for the winter until you can afford a nice roof? I believe that, that is what we did last year with our new shelter. Gutters are pretty cheap and easy to throw up too.
"Roll roofing" is the cheapest type of waterproofing you can get as far as I know. Like what AQHA13 suggested it's basically tar paper but it comes on a roll.
I checked pricing for this locally its super cheap, thanks for you all recommendations:lol::D:-):-P:?:-o!
