108 Mile Ranch Horse Left Behind!! Want some info
February 2009 I got a phonecall that someone had left a horse behind. They asked me to take it in. I did. I was wondering if anyone had any information on her.
She is a Dapple Grey possibly Andalusian. She has multiple large white spots on her hind end which appear to be old scars of a whip. She is approximately 15.2 Hh and is about 4 or 5 years old.
Her friend was burned to cover up any evidence of abuse or starvation. There was nothing else left behind no hay, no water, no saddles or other equipment.
If you have any information please let me know thanks!

Wasnt there a bunch of horses found starving around 108 Ranch?

Yeah but that is a different case i think. My mare wasn't skinny and she was only found with one other horse. The SPCA was asked if they have seen her before and they said no. The always log all the abuse/starvation cases and she wasn't one of them.
She was also left on the ranch itself. There were no other horses(except for the dead one) but it was dead winter. She wasn't even left with a blanket or halter and she was unshod and only halter broke.
PS The SPCA was asked to take her but had no room. If there was a home found for her right away she would have been put down.
