Hello! I have an upcoming show and I want to braid my horses mane. I already know how to braid... but I forgot a couple of things (oh silly brain, forgetting things!). I was hoping that somebody could outline the steps, or provide a link to a website that could outline them. Oh, I don't know how to sew them in, only the other way (I hope that makes sense!) so don't bother going over how to sew them in, because I'll be lost haha!
If this helps- I forgot the steps on tying the braid. For example, right after you introduce the yarn in the braid and finish the braid but right before you pull it through, how do you tie up the yarn? And also after you pull it through how it gets tied up. I really hope that made sense! As always, pictures are always better, but I can survive without them.
after introducing the yarn and reaching te end of the plait, yes you tie off the yarn before pulling it through. just type horse mane braiding into youtube and there are many videos that use yarn, thread and bands :)
to tie the yarn
create a loop one side of plait with on piece of yarn, wrap around and pull yarn through loop do this a few times. :) hope this helps
