So, I have had the flu, so I hadn't been out to the barn until yesterday. Magic was a little sore, but he usually needs to unstiffen his joints and stuff, especially since he had only just been turned out this week and hadn't run around. So I lunged him around and he looked better the more he worked. I can't ride for another week since I broke my collar bone, but when this last week is up... I can ride him again!!!
Now (riding) we can walk for 15 mins, trot for 7, and canter for 3!! Yay!!!
In 2 weeks (depending on his foot) we may be able to go to 5 mins of cantering. He is feeling pretty good (spunky!)
Congrats on the riding. I have been off multiple times in the past due to injuries so I know how starting off slow can be but what an exciting time it can be!
Continue taking good care of yourself and your horse and you guys will back up to speed before you know it!

Thanks, I hope I can find the right thing for Magic! as much as I DONT want to sell him (I will ALWAYS love him to pieces) I will have to if I get another horse. *sobs*
I just don't know what I should do for him! He is wayyy too young to just sit in a pasture! And he cant be ridden for more than like 20 mins and he goes lame on and off sometimes... still! eeekkk, help.
