Spots

I was grooming my horse after riding today. I found a few spots where hair was missing. The spots where on the horse's shoulder. I softly bushing them and looked at them closer. They won't raw just missing hair. Should I bathe the horse more? I groom them when I feed, before and after riding. So I don't groom to much do I?

If the horse is out with other horses they could be nip marks. Whatever they are, I wouldnt really worry about it unless they dont heal, get worse, or multiple.

There are two other horses out there. Each one in about half in inch, but I saw about three.

Could they be rub marks from a breast plate?

Are they rug rubs? Or fence rubs

on his shoulder like where your saddle would sit????

They could be fence rubs. No in there are on the lower shoulder no where near the saddle. It's weird, I don't think he fought with the other horse but he could have. There's a mare out there that hates him. I don't know why but they fight to much.. But it's not raw, just hair missing.
