I am in LOVE with a Hanoverian!!

The prettiest bay (yes I am way partial to bays) Hanovarian moved to our stable today. His name is Indy and he is 18 months old and almost if not over 16hh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't know what Hanos heads are to look like, but he sort of has a roman nose.... short neck, long long legs.... he is gorgeous!!!! I may want a hano now!!

I'm developing a thing for warmbloods too, which is badbadbad because I know people that have a few that they'd probably GIVE to me! ;p
I don't need to spend more money on horses!

Go bays! :)

ooooooooooooo I would take one if they really want to give one away!! And bays are the ones I am drawn to, no matter what.

I love Hanovarians! My horse is a Hanovarian x Paint. He is 16.2 Has a massive head with a slightly roman nose, huge neck (now), show but thick legs, and a very big body. Every Hanoverian I know is just awesome!

I am looking online at them and they are way expensive... this is one time where buying a baby may actually be cheaper than buying a fully trained horse!!

Um, yeah, usually babies are cheaper than buying fully trained horses. Lol...

Haha blood bay is the pretties color ever!
Don't tell Vinnie that though.. :p

I love the little black outline on a bays ears..... guess I will just have to get every breed of horse, but all of them bay :)

I am finding grey hanos though, even though on the Hanoverian website it says greys cannot be registered Hano.

Would you happen to live in wisconsin? At the horse camp I went to a mare had a foal about 18 months ago that's named Indy and now I believe he lives somewhere else, but he was a bay and I think someone mentioned he was a Hano. It's most likely just a strange coinsidence but maybe it's the same horse..!! (:

I actually live in Colorado.... but it is possible- I will have to meet Indy's owners and see where they got him from :)
