Bumps and scabs on stomach
My horse was biting at her belly and kicking and would look to roll then stop. After a while though I discovered bumps and a few scabs on her belly which she was very protective of and she would try to kick and bite me when I went near them. I put a lotion on it which definitely seemed to soothe her and she is acting normally now, but I was wondering if you had any ideas what it could be or how we could help her?
Where do you live? Could be bug bites and or an allergic reaction to something. Might need a steroid if it gets bad enough.

It sounds like insect bites to me - my horse acted like that when she got a beesting. Just keep an eye on them for a few days to check they get better. I'd keep putting on the lotion too if it helps her and if she'll let you do it safely!
Hello we got our vet out and it turned out to be sweet itch. We are treating her now so thanks for the help everybody it was greatly appreciated.
