Costume Contest Ideas

Jesse and I are going to be in a christmas themed costume contest and I can't think of anything. So, can anyone give me some ideas please?

Well, hmmm...

How about putting a santa hat or antlers on your horse, and then use vet wrap in white and red to make it's legs look like peppermint sticks. Maybe put a wreath or garland around it's neck.
You could also throw on a sheet or blanket and decorate it up with greenery, lights (battery powered) and those unbreakable ornaments.....

That's a great idea!

Thanks, glad you liked it.:D
We have miniatures, as well as our riding horses, and we love to do parades with them! So it is always fun to think up new ideas.

If you wanted to get real elaborate with your costume, I think it would be great to decorate it up like this years Christmas Breyer model. But that would take a lot of time, and probably money too.....

Another idea instead of the blanket with decorations, might be to sling a couple santa bags filled up with stuffed toys over the horses back.
Then you might want to go with a whole santa look, the hat, attach a beard to your halter, that kind'a thing.

When is the contest?

Umm Sometime in December.. The thing is that I have to be on the horse and dressed up as well

Oh, ya, that makes a difference....

lol. My mom was thinking that I could be the grinch and he could be the dog

Oh, that would be good, and funny.

The easy part would be the antlers for your horse, did she have a good idea on turning you into a green, fuzzy grinch?
