So Jesse needs a tune up on his ground manners because he's starting to ignore me a little. I was just wondering if anyone knows any exercises apart from the things I already know. When I'm working on ground work I usually:
- Work on leading, halt, back up, halt, walk, etc
- Doing small lunging like circles around me at the walk
- Doing the "String" when I move my hand as if there is a string to get him to lower his head
- Get him to stand ground tied
So, any other exercises would be appreciated.

This is one I find really helps my horses.

Thank you, I'll try that.
Work on beding/flexing, and things that work his brain. When he's working he's less likely to think of ways to ignore you :) Hope this helps:)
