Pretty Proud of myself :)

So last night.....after 6 months out of the saddle and after two months of lessons on the ground and getting my confidence up I got in the saddle and rode one lap around the arena! I feel like a million bucks! And I remembered how awesome it feels to be up there :D I have had 3 falls and two of them involved the mounting/dismounting process so I get terrified when I try and get in the saddle, my legs were shaking so bad but I got up there!

Congrats, Rosebud! That's quite an accomplishment, and one I understand completely. :D

I got bucked off while I was mounting and broke ribs, my right collarbone, and got a bad concussion. I was terrified of getting on a horse, so I know just how you feel.

This is just the first of many rides, now that you remember how great it is to be back in the saddle.

Kudos!

Yeah, that is great!
I know the feeling. I fell off a horse and broke rib and wrist, so I was terrified for a long while after that, but I'm back on again! :D

 Congratulations! I also have fear issues from an accident years ago. It is a hard thing to overcome. I bet it will get easier each time...:-)
