I have the opportunity to breed....
This coming spring I have the opportunity to breed my well conformed Appy mare to a well conformed QH stallion. He's a proven stud who we have 2 of his foals already out of QH mares.
But I'm not going to. Why? Because the foal isn't a nessecity. I have plenty of horses. The foal would not be registerable, and who needs any more grade horses? I do not have the funds to send 3 foals to training, and I am not experianced enough to break them myself. I do not want to have to stop riding my mare for any reason that can be prevented. And I do not want to have to put her and myself through the stress of birth.
High five for responsibility!!!!!!

WooHoo, good job. Finally, someone responsible. Though I looked at the title of the thread (but not who wrote it) and made a silent wager with myself on how long it would take for someone to get snarky LOL.
