Would this arena be too narrow?
I have a long, 200ft by 50ft storage shed, that is heated, and i think it would make a moderatly ok arena for when i bring my horse home. Anyway, the walls are slanted, so that means i would have about 40ft - 45ft of ridable space. Anyway, i am currently doing low level dressage, and i was just wondering if anyone has ridden in this narrow of an arena, and if so, was it bareable? would this size be ok for someone with goals of competing? i'm sure this is a preference question, but i'd still like to hear some opinions. :D

The arena i ride in is 100x200 and i feel it is pretty narrow, not for flatwork so much as jumps, ive never ridden in one that narrow, but id imagine it would be like a very oval round pen size

I find 70' to be narrow - the last place I boarded at (which I left because the arena was too small to train in) was a 70' by 120' arena.
I prefer something at least 80' by 200'.
