Prepaid Annual Vet Packages - good idea?

First of all, this is the first time I've created a thread since they added that whole "what's your thread about" spiel, and I laughed really hard.

Anyways, on to the topic at hand. I was browsing through vets in my area as Flash needs his vaccinations done and I have no clue who to go with as I haven't owned a horse for 6 years... I came across one vet that does "Prepaid Yearly Health Packages" for your horse.

These packages include a general exam, dental exam, vaccinations and a wormer package for the entire year and include the call fees for the things included in the package. There is two packages, one for the "back yard" companion which is $350 and one for the "active and performance horse" for $450. The only difference between the two is that the more expensive one includes flu/rhino vaccination (x2, which means two call fees as well) and the cheaper one does not. I kind of thought the rhino vaccine was necessary? But maybe not for a horse that doesn't leave the yard?

I would love some opinions on these and whether or not you would get one and why!
:D

My friends vet just started doing that this year and so she did it, i'll have to ask her what she thinks. I don't deworm my horse like normal since the parasite resistants has started. My horse gets Flu/rhino twice a year i think. I mean it's probably not a bad thing. I can't say if i'd do it mostly because i have another vet that comes to do the teeth. Oh yeah I like your horses name Flash is a wonderful name haha!!

I really can't think of anything wrong with the package as long as they say the trip charge is included. My friend i think said the trip charge wasn't included in her package. I would probably do it if i used that vet for everything and had my horse on a normal deworming program. We take fecals in and have tests done on them and all sorts of fun stuff. My moms horse has major resistant problems with dewormers and have to do at least two power packs a year on her.
