wow...my money tree has started to grow!!
i found out on thursday tht i have won an award at school - - with a money reward!
i got $225 from it and was wondering what to spend it on....any suggestions
i was thinking of-
some exersise bandages
maybeh some jumping boots or something like tht
save up for a new saddle (if i add up all my work money and dont spend it i will have enough, provided the money tree keeps growing and doesnt die, to buy one in about 256 years time...lol jks!)
a new halter for ambs coz she broke her leather one
***please be specific if possible***
i got some more for my list
horsewyse subscription - $24
comfy horseland vest - $50 (or is it $60?)
i found the latest catalog i get sent from my tack store (horseland) and theyre having a sale so i might go a little crazy with highlighters and pick some stuff from there
I say save it for a rainy day. Something may come up that you really need and then you will have the money. If your like me you will spend it though
i just got my first pay check!!
3 weeks of work and i got 122.48 inc. tax
i bought - - - - -
mint and chocolate jumping boots
a new halter for amber (a nice green colour!)
new stirrup leathers...def needed em coz others were about to break
a horsey book
a warm winter jacket (dad bought this one for me)
a long sleeve top for riding (dad also bought me this one)
new boots (mine didn't fit n.e more)
horsewyse subscription (dad bought that one too)
a mars bar....yummo!
a weight measuring tape
Geeze. Money is buring a hole in your pocket. You'll regret spending it all so quickly and so easily. Really, its good to save and spend it on things you need.
It may sound like alot of money at the moment. But really, in the horse world it not. Thats the sad thing about it all :?
Awwwwwww... I was hoping it was a real money tree.... I was gonna ask if I could get a cutting off of it to start my own!
Yeah, I'd save it. It really comes in handy if you save...I spend a little of my money (cash) but when it comes to paychecks they go straight to the bank. You'll always have some money if you save, remember. :D
Invest it with Bear Stearns.

My biggest regret was buying an Endurance saddle right when I got a large sum of money......then not 2 weeks later the saddle of my dreams was for sale.... new and beautiful condition (to me).... half off the rack price because it had some minor scratches from rough handling off the stock truck! It was an Australian Stock saddle in my size!! I was so upset.
See good things come to those who wait.
Get the stuff you NEED, but hold out on the stuff you WANT. :)
You never know what's right around the corner!
