Some of you know we recently acquired another equine on our way to Maryland to visit family, Lenox, an 11-yr old Percheron or Percheron/Warmblood cross. She's going to be my mom's trail horse and is the sweetest thing! My mom picked her up yesterday and the owner threw in a lungeing circingle, a quarter sheet, a winter blanket, about 5 different shampoos, sheath cleaners, fly repellants, stall mats, her bridle....she's getting out of horses for now and wanted to give us what she had left. Today I took her out and rode her and she was spectacular! It was my second time riding her and her first time riding anywhere other than the side of the road. The saddle she's in is an old one of ours that fit her best out of all of them. I know I'm going to have to break down and buy another one but this one seems to fit pretty well. Some pics....
Oh she is gorgeous!! I have two perchies, so I'm a sucker for the breed I love her color and dapples!
