Band. Marching Season.

Although I'm not a big fan or band, I kinda miss marching season. We got eighth place in State competition this year, but no big deal it was all fun. The work wasn't though, the heat and such, it's a lot of work and it's my last year. If anybody else was in band here, please share experiences or pictures :-)

P.S. In the photo, I am in the front on the farthest right.

Why haven't I found this thread sooner!
I'm in my high school marching band. Not as a playing member though, just in color guard but I absolutely love it. Next year will be my 6th and last year with the band and I'm going to miss it. =(
Since I've been in band we've performed at Disney World twice, was in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade twice and performed aboard the USS Intrepid this year. It's definitely been a great adventure so far.

Here's a group shot of the Guard. I'm the one under the green arrow.

By the way, I love your band uniforms!

That must be an American thing, I've never heard of High Schools having marching bands in Canada. Very cool though! I love the uniforms.

Yeah it's an american thing. ;-) It's concert season now though, and I'm in symphonic band
