Recognizing Good Conformation in a Weanling Percheron
I'm looking into purchasing a registered Percheron weanling sometime next year. I'm not in a big rush, just waiting for the right horse to come along. But as I keep my eye out for Miss. Right (I really want a filly), I was hoping someone can give me some tips on judging conformation in Percheron weanlings.

I want to get something that would be ideal for showing and would be eligable to be shown at shows like the Royal Winter Fair.

I've never been good at judging conformation - but I understand that there is more to high level showing than a sound, sane mind - and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, and also is there any way to be 100% positive that a registered percheron is the horse that the papers say it is?

I know TBs have tattoos, are Percherons tattooed as well? or microchipped?
