this really does keep you warm in the winter
Got this idea from hunters. Get those disposable heating pads, for a sore back or neck, I got some from Costco, and put them on before going to the barn on a very cold day or a chilly trial ride.
They are like toe and hand warmers, make from charcoal I think. If you use one of the large ones, for the lower back, they really heat you up for a few hours.

Oh wow what a fantastic idea. I'll certainly be sure to remember that when I go out and ride on those really cold windy snowy days here in Erie
