Extending cheek pieces on my bitless bridle?
In October I bought a cheap bitless bridle just to see how my horse would go in it, and it fits him fine except that his noseband sits too high. I'm wondering if anyone has seen or heard of an "extender piece" for these types of cheek pieces?
Here's a photo so you can see what I'm talking about, apologies that it's crappy quality:
I know they make girth extenders so I figured they'd make something for bridle parts as well, but I haven't been able to find anything on any tack websites.
Or am I just gonna have to attempt to make something myself? Not sure I am that talented, lol.
Do your cheekpieces come off of the noseband? It looks like they might. If they do, you could always buy longer cheekpieces seperately.
