good friends HUGE horses
 

i have an old cowboy friend who keeps his 2 horses on 25 acres. he used to have 2 horses and 4 mules. but he traded the mules for the 2 babies he has now. and his 2 main horses are HUGE the gelding has a HUGE neck. and mare has a stomache so big it looksl ike she's pregnant with triplets.

Here is the little yearling i was working with. as i was thinking about buying her off of him. or doing a trade by getting his horses into shape and then jsut taking this one off his hands. she had never really been haltered before so we worked on that and leading.

This is one of his main horses named Birdie. who looks VERY pregnant but she definitely isn't

The other little filly he has. this one look quite young but i'm not sure on how old. definitely under a year though.

His main Gelding Buddy. this guy is HUGE and when someone is riding him because his back is so short and he's so wide. he looks like a hippopotamus...

They're all so "fluffy", lol. I like the gelding. He looks like he's fun. : )

oh he definitely is fun lol i do tend to like my horses a bit on the fluffy side lol although these arn't mind. i do think these are a bit too blubbery but i'm trying to help him get them in shape. and he is a fun ride. he is FAST and he loves to go go go go despite how "big" he is lol he can run all day long and he dripping sweat and still wanting to go even more. he's got tons of endurance to not have been ridden in 2 years. and birdie is more of a kids type horse suposedly but i haven't been on her.

He looks like he is a Belgian from the withers up, lol!

Holy cow, and I thought my horses were fat :shock:.

That little bay filly is certainly a looker and she has a nice kind eye.

asides from being abused in the past. and not being messed with. she is the sweetest thing EVER. and yes buddy is HUGE. but he does get kept on 25 acres lol

lol i want him too! the odd thing is.... his fat inst squishy lol it's actually kinda hard. and i assume it's because he's been fat for YEARS

I agree, or at least a belgian cross. Lovely horses, absolutely love that open pasture.
