Please critique my mare's conformation :)

So this is Roxy :) She's a 7 year old Tb/Qh/Welsh/Belgien that I do hunters with. I've always thought she has pretty nice conformation (she has AMAZING bloodlines :D) Anywho, I was wondering what you guys thought. She does have a bit of draft in her, as well as QH so she's stockier. Also, in at least one of the pictures her neck and shoulder looks huge, becasue I couldn't get her to stand still long enough and stay squared nice. By the way, I know there's a pic of me riding her, and that riding pictures are hard to crit for conformation. I just figured she's so un-photogenic it might help :) Thanks in advance.

I think she's quite nice looking actually. Hard to tell if it's just the slope of ground but in some of the pics she appears slightly high in the withers. Her pasterns look long as well, but mostly i think she's very pretty ;)

That is a CUTE horse, pony, horse?

I'm not very good with conformation, but in the second and fourth picture (especially in the second) she looks skinnier and her proportions like kind of off. Her neck looks kind of big compared to her body size, whereas in the other two pictures she looks proportionate to me.

Anyway, I don't normally comment on conformation threads, but this horse/pony could be the sister of a palomino Welsh/QH cross someone at my old barn used to ride. She was/is an AMAZING jumper, could pop over a four-foot fence no problem.

Here's a video if you're curious:

Ok conformation wise, the only bad bits that I can see are that she is slightly upright in her shoulder, back at the knee. Her neck is set on a bit low, she is thick through through the throaght lash (he Draft blood showing).

Also her front end and her back end do not match, she is less muscled/has less fat on her hind end.

Other wise a very nice mare, her hocks are good, she has a nice length of back for a mare (if she were a gelding I would say it was too long). she has a good length of rein and she is built uphill.

Thanks everyone :) She does have that Draft in her so she's naturally thicker built. Some of the pictures were also taken when she was about 5 and a half, and she didn't completely fill out until she was almost 7...

I have her bloodlines about 10 generations back on her sire's side (only a generation for her dam. She was just someone's unregisters pet they wanted to breed...) But her sire's side is some of the top welsh ponies in the country. How they managed to produce my mare I have no clue :? But I love her anyway, of course :) I do know she has a full brother who looks exactly like her, but the website that I found that info on doesn't list her, just her brother, so I've always wondered if she has other siblings. That mare does look quite a bit like her. Jumps the same :) If you could get any name from her bloodlines I could tell if they're related. Her grandfather and great grandfather produced a couple hundred foals so there's a good chance.

While I agree her front end looks a bit heavy I love this mare. She is built to last. The pic of you riding shows she is interested and looks happy to be showing her stuff :) good luck with her. I really do think she is nice:)

I know, it's freaky right! I'll ask the next time I'm out at that barn. I honestly have no idea. The BO "flips" horses, so she often gets people sending her horses with no or even made up backgrounds. But, I do know that she was rather expensively priced whenever she arrived, so it's very possible they share the welsh pony part of the bloodlines and that's why she came so pricey.

Rascaholic put it well, built to last! She is really a keeper. Yes, neck is set on a bit low and throatlatch is heavy but give me a break! She has draft in her , so it's to be expected.
