Mana, Deja, and Thelma. Small update.
So, winter has reared it's ugly head in my neck of the woods which means that instead of taking tons of pictures almost daily, I am hiding my poor freezing fingers inside my coat when not in use, so holding a camera up and such is not fun. Today was a nice and warm day at 34 degrees.:lol:Yeah. Nice and warm.... They aren't the best pictures, but they will do.
Mana is 16 months on the 27th. See how big he is compared to Thelma?! And he is slightly down hill from her too.
I really don't think that Mana likes the cold at all even though he is fuzzy like a yak.
Uuuuuuum, so, where's the food?
He is definitely not as wooly as he was last year. Head shot of this year:
Head shot last year:
"No food yet?"
"This is YOUR fault."
"Did she say food?" "I think she said food." Silly ponies.
Deja girl and her wonderful mane.
Very nice, Deja. :-)
Aww! My favorite trio of Arabs! I especially love the "did she say food?" one. Mana is looking so grown up! O.o And I just love Thelma, can I steal her? :P
Deja is also looking great! She's looks like she's put on some nice muscle and lost some of that ginormous belly! Yay!
They're so cute!
Those are some gorgeous horses! I love Deja's mane.
I know! My little guy is so big already. It looks like he'll be nice and stocky like Deja, but a tiny bit more narrow. His daddy was sooooo narrow in the front end it almost looked...wrong. :? Either way, I am still debating whether I am going to have him broke to saddle next fall or if I will wait and have him broke to cart instead first.
What happened to this thing?! :-( http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-..._8265737_n.jpg
And if only we weren't on the opposite sides of the country you could borrow Thelma any time you want. I think her and Lacey would be fun to watch together.
Deja...I don't know what's up with her. Thelma and Mana are besties now so she's kind of the odd man out. Her attitude has become much more...quiet. She is lonely I think. I've always had issues with catching her and such, but now it's like she doesn't care or she's not bothering. I'm making it sound more severe than it is, but I'm not sure how to describe it.
I think I may start working her again. I haven't worked her since someone came out to look at her. She did okay, but I really have to get her to a trainer. She's had too much time off and I don't trust her to do what I ask. And I don't have a pen to work her in, so she could just take off with me. *sigh* She's alot of work...
