Love it! I like the Grey one the most though! I love lipizzaners. I have an Andalusian and théir lines are pretty close together!

I would have preferred a straigtforward filming of the riders/horses sans the special effects.
Anyway, thanks for sharing that video. I am going to favorite it.

What is really instructive to see is how the riders hardly move at all. They do move for Spanish walk, and this is to give the shoulder room to move when the horse is extravagantly lifting it.

But what I really focussed in on is how quiet were their hands and notice the bend in the elbow and the upper arm perfectly vertical. How many riders do you see riding like that? Wanna know, I think Western reiners emulate that position better than many high level dressage riders.

Rant rant .. ..

I love it . Talk about mixing classical and ... what ever you call that kind of music.

TinyLiny I agree with you!! But i think it is also neat mixing some videos together cause it is neat!!!

Ok I just want to say this but you guys probley already know, but I want to say that all the moves they are doing with the horses were used for war!!!

thats so cool!
but one thing I noticed they're swishing tails alot and their ears are back, makes me wonder if they do enjoy their job...
but still they're stunning!! We have an andlucian stallion at our yard at the moment and he's gorgeous too! haha

Amlalriiee 01-06-2011 06:35 PM

^the ear pinning and tail swishing is also a general "stress" sign...in this case "stress" could be concentrating hard on what's being asked of them. Doesn't mean they're necessarily ANGRY.
