We finally bought a pony!! Australia

Hi,

I'm Katherine from Canberra Australia.

I have ridden all my life and lease a horse with a friend but now that I want my children to ride (as they do), I finally invested in a very friendly 11 year old Shetland Pony called Dolly.

Dolly may be in foal at present (pending vet check - I have only had her for a week now).

She has never been lunged so I took her out yesterday and she was just perfect and cottoned on very quickly (I'm a very proud new owner!!!):D

I have already had very positive conversations with people from Canberra on this forum. Canberra has many beautiful places to ride. I did have a comment from someone who came across a bit sarcastically, so please be patient with me if I have questions...this is the first time I've owned our own pony!!

Cheers,
Katherine
