Saddle Fit Questions
Ok, so the saddle I have now allllmost fits the horse I'm leasing. It has good wither clearence, but the tree is a bit narrow and it tip forward a little.
The problem with getting a wider tree would be putting the pommel closer to the withers. I'm thinking about getting a wintec front riser pad to put under it. The tree would be a tad narrow but it would otherwise be perfect. Opinions?
Pictures of what you are describing would help, however the general rule is that you can't fix too narrow, but it is acceptable to pad up a little too wide.
