Boots for jumping?
What boots do you use for jumping purposes? My horse has kinda sensitive legs and i want to get him something before I jump. Are polos okay?
they have open and closed front jumping boots.
I have no idea about using polos
Re: Boots for jumping?
polos don't give much support but they can give protection. I use open fronts for show jumping, but for work at home or out in the field (like x-country) I use woof all purpose boots. I think they are wonderful.
These are what I use for show jumping
These are what I use for home
Hope this helps :D
I also use open front jumping boots. I have a pair of black Eskadron ones for schooling and a pair of leather ones for showing.
I have a pair of open fronts (that are horse sizes and I ride a pony with tiny legs...this was when I had my mare).
Polos probaly won't give the support you need (and if you EVER try to use them, make SURE you know how to put them on correctly).
You can never be safer then sorry with jumping, that's why I suggest boots on all horses; no matter the "shape" (of coruse, for example), size, or level of jumping.
Although it reminds me that I need to buy the pony-kins some boots.
Yeh front open splint boots and bell boots to protect the corenette (sp) band
wow! thanks guys! i really don't know much b/c me and my horse are going to be learning how to jump together, so thanks!
