German Shep. puppy ((updated pictures added))
So i have sorta exciting news... Tom and I are like almost set on getting this one German Shep pup. She's a mix but really looks like a shepherd. She's at a shelter right now, and she looks like the sweetest thing! We haven't met her yet, but we're getting a lot of information on her.
And she's only 1 1/2 hours away, which isn't bad at all!
im so happy for you!!! can't wait to have pics up of her running round your place ;)
I really hope to get more info on her and then demand Tom to drive out there and meet her.
I know people that have gotten dogs from the same place and they all had great experiences
Aww congrats; she looks soo sweet!! :D Very cute.
We didn't get her yet, but hopefully soon we will.
ok so Update:
Sasha seems to have either a disease or an abnormal bladder that makes her "drip" urine from time to time. And while i don't want to discriminate against that, we're not 100% sure how that would fit into our life.. especially when we bring her to the office.
But on the brighter side, we are looking into getting a puppy (around the 8 week mark) from a breeder. We are thinking a little puppy will be less intimidating to my father-in-laws dog (if you watch Cesar Milan, he's an insecure dominate sometimes aggressive dog)
And that way too we can teach the puppy whats right and what's wrong.
We are going to look at male GSD puppy this weekend. I'll let everyone know how it goes.
we're getting the puppy today! :D
Aww yay; that's great! :D :D
yay!! appy im happy for you!! i wanna see pics!! :)
There is a book I always recommended to people who bought my puppys. How to help your puppy grow up to be a wonderful dog. Its still around I think on Amazon.com I like the month by month guide in it and the training sections are very good.
The house training section is excellent. Congratulations on your new puppy :D
Edit: This book is for a puppys first year. If your adopting an older dog, it really isn't appropriate.
