Queen Zenyatta

I was not sure where to put this post, but this sub-forum titled Famous Horses seemed to fit the horse I wanted to honor! I just wanted to pay tribute to a awe inspiring mare who will forever be one of the greats if not the Greatest racehorse America has ever seen! My congratulations to Team Z on their much deserved Horse Of The Year award! Anywho..She will be greatly missed and I think I can speak on behalf of all Z fans we cannot wait to see how her offspring turn out! If anyone would like to put their two sense in feel free! This was just more of a rant, because I am overwhelmed with joy for her and everyone who had anything to do with her!

I love Zenyatta. I can't wait for her babies to hit the ground. They are going to be beastssss.

1st of all THANKS for using the word BEAST, I thought I was the only one who used it...lol..anywho...and I know, I want to know who they are going to breed her to?

Not sure. I just found this article that suggests maybe Curlin or A.P. Indy.

And haha. I refer to my own mare as a beast. She's 15.2hh and weighs about 1250lbs. I think that qualifies as beast.

Of course, not nearly as beastly as a 17.2hh TB that is clearly one of the greats.

LOVE this girl. It's been a long while since any horse has taken the racing scene by storm the way she did! There have been some great horses but none i believe that really stood out. So many people who aren't even into horses know who she is.
Personally, i hope they breed her with Curlin. He had his fair share of losses, but overall he was a stunning racer (being the world's richest TB doesn't hurt either lol!)

I suppose a son of AP Indy would be cheaper than AP Indy's stud fee of $150,000. But I'm still excited!

lilruffian: Love these pictures. Especially the one of "Zenyatta's big booty"
