My horse is built funny!

I never really realized how low my horse's neck tied in until I saw this picture:

I always thought he was built pretty decently for a TB, but that picture makes him look yucky. Aside from his knees I thought he was rather handsome.

Here's some other photos:

Anyone have some other critiques on his conformation?

He is a 16 year old Thoroughbred gelding. His grampa is Danzig! :)

It does tie in a bit low, but I wouldnt go as far as to say he looks "yucky"!

He is very handsome :)

He does have a few conformation flaws but he is still a handsome boy.

Yeah, he is far from Yucky. The picture where you are on him, he is allowing his back to sag down and this makes his neck look worse. For a thbd, whether the neck ties in low or not would not compromise his ability to run flat out forward. It compromises the ability of the horse to collect and raise the base of the neck while coiling the pelvis under, creating the bascule we call collection.
