Rant on winter!

I'm getting so sick of winter!! Up here in northern Wisconsin, it's absolutely HORRID. It's wayy to cold to ride for long periods of time like my bestie and I usually do. The snow is extremely deep too...and I am, all in all, a nervous person, so I worry a lot about Rascal tripping while we're riding him..or if he were to slip on the ice. Oh gosh I'm bad. I really need to learn to let go of my fears..but that's a different topic haha. I just hope spring comes soon. I want the snow to melt and the grass to grow and the cold weather to go away!!

Sugar cubes to all who took time to read my pointless complaining(:

Snow's better than the months of melting ice and mud we'll be getting in a few weeks :-(

Ewww that doesn't sound good, luckily Mississippi doesn't get that.

Yep, we'll most likely have bad mud end of February to April. Yay us!

equinipile that is nothing compared to Alberta this year. We've already doubled on the annual snowfall and it ain't even the end of winter We've had upwards of 2 and a half feet of snow and its supposed to snow more. If I'm lucky it'll all melt and grass will bloom by the beginning of June.

I am so with you. This has been the longest winter in years. The longest I have seen snow on the ground in one winter. It seems like it's never going to be over.

Beau Baby:
oh my gosh i no! i live in central alberta and we have at least 3 feet of snow and now its getting above zero and is turned into this gross muddy slush!

I also live in Northern WI so I feel your pain! Especially today with the wind so bad and snow drifts piling by the barn door! I cant wait for summer and nice long rides on the trails.

We set a record in Connecticut for snowiest month ever. Something like 60 inches depending on part of the state. I'm sure my horse is already hatching ideas of what to do with all that lovely mud!
