Change of Horse
Recently in my riding lessons my instructor has changed me onto a different horse.I rode Jasper(the horse I was on) for over a year and I've been changed to Smartie. Smartie is much smaller and faster than Jasper. How do I get used to the change?
Honestly, the best way to get used to the change is to ride the new horse.
If you plan on riding a lot in your life, I garuntee you you will be riding multiple horses. And every one of thoes horses are going to be different. You will have to get used to their different paces, different sizes, different training levels/styles, and definately different personalities.
If you can sucessfully ride different horses, it means you are a pretty acomplished rider.
You will learn a great deal from switching horses.
Good luck with Smartie, and weclome to the Horse Forum!
