it's that hairy time again..

This is my first post on this forum and so far I like it:P
Anyways, unfortunately..it's that hairy time again when Aspen sheds and sheds and sheds. I love to shed him the first or second day, but then on the 3rd or you know..20th day it gets tiring and all my clothes are white and I come home looking like the abominable snowman. And a big show/clinic is comming up and it takes him around 5 weeks to fully shed out:S I think he has a disorder or something..hehe.

Aspen is scared of clippers and I don't know how well vacuuming him will go..

Any tips, tricks, or helpful hints?? lol

Shedding blocks!! they save my life for show season. It takes so quick for these things to get all of the hair off and they are soooo cheap.

I use a shedding blade! Hold on let me find a link..

Slick 'n' Easy Grooming Block!

Those thing's have saved my life every spring/summer (shedding season) for the past two years!

Granted, hair still get's all over you, but now, instead of it taking like, 50 L.O.N.G grooming sessions to get my mare and colt shedded out, it only takes about 6 or 7!

Yeah I hate sheding time but the the sheeding block is the best

Shedding blocks!

Oh my goodness, if I didn't have the Slick n' Easy shedding block, I don't know where I would be! It also helps bring out the natural oils and gives the horses a great shine! My yearling refuses to shed out right now (looks like she has mange), I've been bathing when its warm enough, and blanketing her every night to help keep an even temp, and that's starting to help too...

Yeah shedding time sucks...LOL! I feel pretty lucky that Lexi isn't a huge shedder.
