arg that little brat
Today I was cantering Sonny along and as we turned to go to the opposite wall he'd turn his head sideways making it almost look like he was drunk while cantering (sadly no pictures of that....darn)
Anyways I tried everything to fix it but he wouldn't stop, so I called one of my friends (she's a certified instructor) to see if she had any ideas on how to stop. She came in the arena and I cantered him around...and he was PERFECT. He was collected, he didn't pull on the bit or anything.
But the minute she left the little devil started turning his head sideways again. ARG haha
We finally got it resolved (by circling) but it got annoying.
And he ONLY did it on one wall...if we were on the other wall he was fine...it's the minute we were on the other wall is when he's play drunk.
Anyone else ever had something like that happen? Where your horse would act up, but the minute you asked your instructor or friend to watch they'd behave?
