Horse sunscreen??? sun bleached...

My horse has been sunbleached so shes gone form black to a brownish color. Well Idk what shampoo to use to make her black again.. any idea???? also I want to prevent her getting sunbleached again this summer but i dont want to always have to keep a sheet on her .. she usually gets them destroyed out in the feild. Is there like a sun screen for horses???

I haven't used anything, but I love the know as well. I have a black/bay and I'm dreading the fading.

But there are plenty of color enhancing shampoos (and supplements):
Vetrolin Conditioner
Sunflower SUNSCREEN™ RTU

Black Pearl Shampoo
Quic Black
Quic Color
Jeffers Black Coat Shampoo
Hi Black Burgundy

The first two are what I think you are looking for.
I haven't used them (except Quic Black and Quic Color), but theses are things I looked up. I'm curious to see if anyone else has. Also, there are plenty of supplements that will help prevent a dark horse from bleaching out, I use Black as Knight.

there's a good chance his pink nose will need some sunscreen! I use any kind of high SPF waterproof baby sunblock on our pink nosed guys.

as far as black horses? no idea! our dark horses go out at night and wear sheets! i've heard some dark horse supplements (Black as Night or something?) work fairly well.

Out of these I've only used Quic Black so I'm not sure it the other two will work...

Also, you will definitely need sunblock on a horse with a pink nose. When I had my cremello I just used waterproof baby block.

the barn were my foal came from, they have a paint mare who has a bald face, she uses normal sunscreen on her nose. it works!!! no sunburt noses. I used to put some on my pally he always got sun burt.

There is something else out there I have a bottle at home cant quite remember what its called but its to protect the color of horses from fading in the summer, couldent tell you if it works or not.
