Ground Grid Work, help!

My horse is recovered from two back leg tendon injuries and we are certain now that he is more than able to pop a few small fences. However he definatley needs his tendons being built up properly frist. Would anyone please be able to help me by explaining what gridwork is, does and even some examples if you could? All help will be really appricated, thank you :-)

Grid work is with jumps. Or I suppose you could use ground poles too.

It is just about 2-8+ jumps/poles in a row. Space them as bounces or as one stride fences.

Here is a video..

Obviously the jumps do not have to be that high..I would start with ground poles then cross poles
