A Different Kind of Cow!!
2 Attachment(s)
I thought I would just post a couple pictures of the kind of cows that I raise.

They are Buelingo beef cattle and were developed in Sheldon, ND; they were developed to mainly feed on roughage.

They are about 7/8 angus and 1/8 belted galloway or dutch belt.

They aren't a very common breed (developed only about 20 years ago), but I thought I'd post the pictures so people could see what they look like.

If there's any questions just ask.

I was going to ask if they were part Dutch Belted with the markings, but you cleared that up. I don't know anything about cows, but you're about an hour away from me. I live in Moorhead for college.

A lot of people around my area call them Oreo cookie cows too!!

I'll have to try to get a picture of one of my bulls posted.

Thanks everyone for your interest in this type of breed, I hope they become more popular in the years to come.

@Posedion....I live in the Northern half of Minnesota, I think your thinking of the herd that's in Sheldon, ND (which is about an hour from Moorhead) located on the Bueling Farm (in other words it's the farm that developed the breed).

I currently have a bull that I bought from the Bueling Farm.

Oooooh. I read it as you LIVE in Sheldon. I just reread it and I get it now. Haha. My bad.
