I have a Hunter Puppy! My Great Dane Orion loves to jump so after jumping Legacy today he took over and he jumps better than she does!
We tried to send my dane Zeus over them but he's more of a Dressage Prospect pony dog instead of a jumper. haha

both jumps he did were at 2'3

The little log in the bottom picture for Legacy was 11 inches. It was there so we hopped over it.

He's cleared a 3'3 oxar though with ease! Silly boy spends so much times around the horses he thinks he is one!

O.O If legacy is not in you rpaddock/stable tomorrow morning don't come looking in New Zealand :L
She is gorgeous I'm so envious :O

And I love the way your dog jumps the jumps haha, my dog is a fat stink labrodor Hunterway cross and can't jump anything.

Hmm nice overall position, could even knees a little. Hahah lol :D Love the pics! I want a legacy horse now!

Lol, I love that last picture of Orion, he has like perfect form. My dog thinks he is a dressage horse, even before I had a horse and I don't even do dressage. He literally has a walk, trot, canter. And he will do flying lead changes.

All of your animals are so lovely and well taken care of...makes my heart smile.

Cute, my Border collie loves to jump too, he is crazy loves to jump anything he thinks is in the way upwards of 4 1/2 feet. How old are they the great danes? To bad he is probably to big for agility and it is no good for danes joints!

Both my boys just turned 3.
I think out of the two of them Orion would be better at agility but yeah it's not the best on their joints. He can get through and around almost anything. He's smaller than Zeus is. Zeus is 37 inches at the shoulder and Orion is only 32. Still a big boy but neither of them know it.

He cut his corner coming in and had to wiggle around on his entrance to straighten out. haha! Just kidding!

Yeah Orion are on the smaller side, anything over 30 inches or so find it harder than to run the tunnel, chute and weave poles. Love great Danes though, they always seem to have "i'm a lap dog" out look on life!

drafts4ever 02-24-2011 01:35 PM

They think they're the size of a teacup puppy and they treat life that way. They walk under my horses (so glad my giants are ok with it) and sit on peoples laps. They'll get stuck under the coffee table getting a fallen treat. They only know they are extra large size when I have something I don't want them to get sitting on the back of the counter. Then they stand with their heads resting on the counter top waiting for me to yell "get out of the kitchen!"
