OH-KY-IN riders may be interested
I've posted a few times about teaching trail riders how to "stay found" with map and compass in the Pacific Northwest.
I've been asked to go to the Cincinnati, Ohio area to talk with several Mounted Search and Rescue Groups on this topic at the end of March. In doing so it was suggested that a couple sessions be offered to anyone that wants to learn more about navigating as well.
If you're in the area, and have ever wondered about what would happen if you actually had to use the compass and crumpled that are buried in the bottom of your saddlebags, you'll learn a bit and have a good time doing so.
Hope to see you there!
