Yesterday was exactly six weeks since he tore his suspensory. I got on him and walked around for a half hour for the first time last night, and today was his first day of limited turnout!! We sectioned off part of the smallest pasture and gave him a little bit of Ace to keep him quiet. They turned him out at 1:00 this afternoon, and I raced over there on my lunch hour about 20 minutes later. He was already COVERED in mud!! I'm so excited for him. He looked SO happy and relieved!!
This is my first time using my new iPhone to take pics, so sorry if they're not the best!!
^^ Thanks a lot honey... You should be over there helping me dig out the cement that will be stuck in his feet!! I'm going to be totally disgusting by the time I get home...
I'm just thrilled they remembered to take his halter off! One less thing I'll have to clean tonight.
I could only stay for about 20 minutes before I had to leave to get back to work. As I was backing the car up, he walked to the gate and stretched his nose towards the parking lot. I almost cried. I wanted to stay so badly!
