My head versus my horse's head? I lose!

I took my mustang Rowan out of the pasture to go riding so he wouldn't be frightened while my husband and his friends were shooting clay targets. When we got back, I hopped off to lead him up the driveway so I could have better control of him and not get thrown off and hurt if he decided to freak out a little because of the noise...I should've stayed on.....
This is what happened when he jumped sideways and clonked me with his hard head:

It doesn't look a ton better this morning, more puffy under my eye, beautiful purple color....I'm not going to the doctor since my eye is fine, doesn't hurt, is nice and white, I can move it all over, just can't open it cuz of all the blood draining down and pooling in my eyelid.....thanks gravity. lol
SO! Beware of surprise ambushes from the side by your horse!!!!

Ouch!! I bet everyone is asking you , in an embarassed way, if your husband did that to you . That happened to me. More than once. And had my nose cracked too from tete a tete contact. Your horse's head is like a hundred pounds!

Dang no wonder I'm so swollen up!!!
Haha yeah I wear an eye patch pirate style when I have to go out ;) lol! Levi (my husband) is so laid-back and good humored! He said to tell everyone "I, uh, 'fell down the stairs....'" lol!

Yeah , right! He's pretty self confident to tell you that. My husband didn't realize that my friends were asking me that question, with looks of concern in their eyes. But I was always showing up with some bruise or limp from horses. Funny, I have never fully broken a major bone by horses, but plenty of black and blue body parts.
