So, my palomino appendix quarter horse, Jonathan, is taking a looooong time to turn back to his beautiful deep gold color. Over the winter, he grew a fuzzy coat the color of the inside of a banana (exactly) and this is his first spring at my house. So, it's already getting near the middle of March, and he still looks like a banana! He is shedding a good bit, but no gold had shown up anywhere. I'm worried! I don't like the banana look! Will he ever turn gold again! I know this is really stupid, and he will turn gold again in his own time, I'm just impatient and freaking out that he will be a banana forever. I will post some pictures soon of his gold look and his banana look. I got him July 2010. Anybody else having this problem? Thanks!
Yeah, I wouldn't expect them to be done shedding around here for another month! Of course, I'm in Indy and it may be different in Ga. but with the weather we've all had this year they may just be a bit behind.
Stop. Relax im sure he will turn back to his normal gold colour. btw your very lucky to have a palomino
