trail ride
 

hi, comming up will be my first trail ride for me and apatchy. I hope he does well and nothing at all spokes him. we are taking a trail through the woods so anything could happen, like a snake or rabbit. anything will throw him off, but also build him up. while I am there I will be taking pics and posting them on here, that is if I don't end up in the hospital. so wish up both luck and look forward to the pics. they should be great.

I'm sure you will both do fine. If your going with a group, it makes it much better for the horse. I think they get less jumpy when other horses are around.
If your alone, just talk a lot. I talk/sing to Vida when we're out, tell her its ok holler "shoo deer" and she wears a little bell to let the wildlife know we are coming. :D

well that ride sucked. I had to take my mom to the er. she had a bad headache with acid refulx, so I missed my ride. I will get to do it soon.
