My horse and I need some constructive help!!
Ok so I own a Morab who is super choppy and uneven! I dont know if there is anything that I am doing wrong. My english saddle seems to fit him well but the bridle I have is to large so I use a regular halter for my bridle and he seems fine. We do have other horses in the same pasture and I am thinking he is buddy sour but would that cause choppyness? Oh and I do not have an arena so I work with him in complete openess. Please help me!

If by choppiness you mean he wants to go here, then there and pulls against you and such, then I would guess it is buddy sour. The buddys are magnets pulling him that way. Also, is the pasture footing good? It is going to be harder to work him in the field with his buds present, so you have to be more engaging to him than they are. Not much help, I know.

No that wasn't quite what I meant. By choppiness I meant his trot is really jerky. But it does help on why he pulls so much to go to one side and then the other! Thanks! :)
